Claudio Di Benedetto

Art Historian - Director of the Library of the Uffizi Gallery

Graduated from the University of Florence, he attended the School of Public Administration at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. He directs the library of the Uffizi Gallery in Florence and he taught between 1998-1999 and 2003-2004 Bibliography and Library Science at the degree course in cultural heritage history and  conservation at the University of Macerata. It comes from the National Central Library of Florence and is a member of several international committees and working groups. He has coordinated programs in Italy hold by the Ministry of Heritage and Cultural Activities during the Italian Presidency of the European Union (1996), at the Cabinet of the Minister. He is author of numerous publications, conferences and seminars held in Italy and abroad.
