Journalist, graduated in Political Science . He worked  for Rai Press Office in 1966 , later for the technical office of the Rai MD Gianni Granzotto since 1969 when he became senior editor for special news reports.

In 1972 he fulfilled 10 episodes of ” The Birth of a Dictatorship” with Sergio Zavoli. Until 1976, he worked in the editorial staff of ” Tv7 ” as a special correspondent . He worked for the Tg2 news section (director Andrea Barbato). He made reports and investigative reports in Italy and abroad. In 1979 he was news editor with Angelo Guglielmi for Rai3 channel . In 1981 he was vice-director for the Rizzoli Tv Network  and since 1986  news editor for Radiocorriere Rai. In 1993 he returned to TG2  and appointed chief editor and curator of the section  ” Dossier ” . In 2000 he left  Rai and from 2002 he works at “The Art Newspaper ” as a correspondent and since 2005 he has carried out several documentaries on art exhibitions and museums (Vatican Museum , Uffizi, etc. ) with Tina Lepri with whom he won the ” Prix Rotondi to the saviours of art” in 2013.
